Lately I have noticed a alamring and steady trend in media, family and at the water cooler.  I wouldn't be surprise if many of the readers have noticed it too.  It seems that any outlet, rather it be congressional Voting,  News stations, or peronal statements that are not in locked-step with the Presidential Administration are deem to be leftist, bias, or out of touch with the mainstream. I have even heard "If you don't agree with the President you are immoral and un-American".  People seem to have fogotten what America was founded on.  Disagreeing with the president is a God-given American right that is as American as apple pie, baseball and chopping down a cherry tree all rolled into one. The Constitution gives us the right to disagree and voice that disagreement with our government officials.  (More to follow) 

 In this time of "war" (See "war" article) Patriotism often creates blind loyalty to the Commander In Chief.  Don't get me wrong,  in some cases this can and is a good thing. (More to follow) 

Anti-war does not mean anti-troops.  Protestors at the Millitary bases that are piketing the spouses and chidren of our millitary are misguided and in essenece mean spirit.  They rubbing salt in already painful an open wounds of the abscense of the loved one.  Millitary bases and installations are not the places to picket the war or voice your displeasure with the war.  Are brave men, women and there families are following there orders in the belief of protecting the country.  That includes the person carrying the picket sign and there right to do it.  If you disagree with "war", then voice your dipleasure with the people who authorized the orders.  This would be the office of your local congress man or woman, the Capital where congress voted to give up it war authorization powers, or the white house where the order was given and executed.  Picketters should leave our millitary families and personnel alone to cope with the stress that goes along with doing there job.  (more to follow)
